Creative Art Club for Ages 6–14.
Have fun, get creative, build confidence, make friends and get messy!
Our friendly and nurturing Art Club gives children the freedom to explore their creativity, experiment with exciting techniques and, most importantly, enjoy making art.
Designed for ages 6–14, our classes encourage creativity while helping children develop concentration, observation, and problem-solving — valuable skills that can support them both in the classroom and beyond.
About the Art Club
Professional artists Kirstin Handley and Aniela Dublaszewska run the Art Club from their Queen Street Art School studio, sharing their passion, experience and love of art with young people.
It’s a beautiful, well-equipped, spacious, light-filled space, the perfect environment where children can develop a treasured collection of artwork over time. Many of our students have gone on to achieve art scholarships, thanks to the skills, confidence and portfolios they have developed with us.
Every class is hands-on and carefully planned by Kirstin and Aniela. Children explore drawing, painting, mixed media and 3D art, experimenting with exciting materials, innovative techniques and creative ideas.
Something New Every Week
There’s always something new to discover!
Each session begins with an artist demonstration, introducing techniques and ideas that children can explore during class.
We explore a wide variety of artistic materials and subjects. We discover the lives and work of famous artists and different art movements, so children are fascinated and eager to learn more.
A Celebration of Their Creativity
Throughout the year, our students work towards an annual art exhibition in a professional art gallery.
Every student has the opportunity to have their artwork exhibited as part of this special celebration. Seeing their work displayed and sharing it with family and friends is a hugely rewarding experience — and for many of our young artists, the highlight of the year!
