SUNDAY ART CLUB For Teenagers 2-weeks October 2026. From 2.30 - 4.00 pm
Ideal for KS3 and GCSE Art Students
This structured yet creative art class is designed to support and inspire young artists aged 11–18.
Led by experienced artists, the sessions focus on:
- Curriculum-based skills: observational drawing, composition, and experimentation
- Contemporary techniques: including mixed media, experimental mark-making, and 3D work
- Portfolio development: tailored support for coursework and sketchbooks.
- Encouraging creative thinking and visual storytelling.
- Expanding their portfolios for school or art college.
- Building confidence and self-esteem.
We encourage our students to develop their individual style while helping them develop concentration, observation, and problem-solving — valuable skills that can support them both in the classroom and beyond.
About the Art Club
Professional artists Kirstin Handley and Aniela Dublaszewska run the Art Club from their Queen Street Art School studio, sharing their passion, experience and love of art with young people.
It’s a beautiful, well-equipped, spacious, light-filled space, the perfect environment where they can develop a treasured collection of artwork over time. Many of our students have gone on to secure art scholarships and places at colleges and universities thanks to the skills, confidence, and portfolios they have developed with us.
A Celebration of Their Creativity
Throughout the year, our students work towards an annual art exhibition in a professional art gallery.
Every student has the opportunity to have their artwork exhibited as part of this special celebration. Seeing their work professionally displayed and sharing it with family and friends is a hugely rewarding experience — and for many of our students, the highlight of the year!
