Tree Sculpture - Air Dry Clay Workshop. 19th and 20th of February 2025, 10.30-12.15 am

2-Day project
Day 1.
The session will start with a short demonstration, showing the children step-by-step what they need to do to create the tree sculpture. We will design and construct the tree structure using wire, cork and clay,
The sculpture will dry overnight.
Day 2.
We will paint and decorate the tree with butterflies using vintage musical notebooks.
We use artist-quality art materials, which are provided at the price of the workshop.
The children will have the joy of being able to take their artwork home to treasure, feeling confident about what they have achieved.

Suitable for children aged 7 - 13 years.
Welcoming, friendly and relaxed classes, in a Covid secure studio.
Spend quality time drawing and painting a one-off beautiful pendant & card to take home and wear. We'll use tiny paintbrushes and a pre-prepared lightweight wooden disc and card.
We use artist-quality art materials, all provided at the price of the workshop.
The children will have the joy of taking their pendants home to treasure.
Please wear old clothes or bring an apron as we might use paint that may stain clothing!

This is a fun workshop for families to be creative together. You will each create a piece of artwork using mixed media. We'll start the session with a demonstration which involves an effective finger-painting technique.

Paint a Miniature Owl and Robin. Saturday 22nd February 2025,1.30-4pm

Suitable for ages 7-15
This workshop is held in the Artist Studio at Queen Street Art School.
The studio has quality artist materials and equipment that your child will use.
We'll paint a miniature owl and robin in mixed media on a natural piece of wood. The students will take 2 miniature paintings home, ready to hang on the wall.
It is a small class so Kirstin and Aniela will be on hand to offer lots of encouragement.
